Laying the Foundation for Change Management Within the Big Picture of Organisation Development

Non-credit bearing as a stand-alone module
Introduction-to-Change-ManagementManaging change and mitigating the negative impacts on an organisation and individuals is a key element of the OD practitioner’s work.
In this two-day change management course participants become familiar with the application of change management principles and planning in the context of organisational development. As facilitators of change, participants will encounter the different types of change, the drivers of change and measures to deal with resistance to change. Through a paradigm shift to complexity and an understanding of the rhythm and nature of the organisation, participants will understand how to analyse change, within their own organisations, in terms of complexity, rhythm and nature, and understand how to then and respond to the unique nature of this change.
