The work of OD, Change and HR practitioners can be a real slog! Day in and day out, we are required to assist line managers, executives, and others make changes to the organisation in order to achieve organisational success. It may seem like it is easier said than done!
WorldsView Academy are looking for someone to take up the leadership of Programme Development and take the WorldsView Academy product portfolio through a phase of growth and expansion.
Leadership behaviours embody Organisation Design and strategy. Leaders make strategic decisions around goals, and then design means of organising employees to meet these goals (if this is where we are going, we need x to get there). Congruency between leadership, strategy and design is key to a healthy and effective organisation but is seldom achieved.
The wonderful world of OD and Change Management has quite a few axioms which seem to epitomise the discipline as a whole:
– OD doesn’t have a “one size fits all” approach;
– Two heads are better than one; and
– Change is inevitable.
